Self-Study Tips

There is a lot of information that you need to know for the AP European History exam, but it is possible to start self-studying a month before the exam and get a 5.

You should start off by going through the Barron’s book, reading all the sections, and doing all of the practice problems.

Then take both of the practice tests in the book and figure out what your weak areas are.

Review the sections that you missed on the exam, and make sure you know the answers to those questions.

Start reading through the Crash Course book 1 or 2 weeks before the exam, and take the practice test at most 2 days before the actual test.

Look over the timeline in the book, and skim through the Crash Course book on the day before the test, and be confident that you will get a 5 on the exam.
