Best Review Book – Barron’s AP Human Geography, 6th Edition
After you’ve fully worked your way through the Human Geography textbook, you can start your review before the exam.
Barron’s book is the best tool for preparing for the exam. The diagnostic test helps you determine what you’re good at so you don’t have to spend precious time studying what you already know.
Simply reading through the chapters a couple times is enough to get a 4, but if you take the practice tests and figure out what you got wrong, you’re nearly certain to get a 5.

Self-Study Tips
AP Human Geography is a very easy exam to study for.
In fact, many students start studying for it the weekend before the exam and manage to get a 5.
However, we recommend you start studying for it at least a month or 2 weeks before and read all of Barron’s book. Do not take the diagnostic exam before you read as it won’t help you.
Take the diagnostic exam after reading and read through the sections relating to the questions that you missed.
Take the 2 practice exams, and then go through Princeton Review’s book and make sure you know all of the terms and maps in it.
Then take the last 2 practice exams, and look over the vocabulary terms in Princeton once again the day before the exam.
